For Caitlin and Nicholas 13 it has always been an important number in their lives: they met in September 13th, 2013, Nick pop the question on July 13th 2016, bought their first home on April 13th so it was important to get married on Friday 13th, 2018. Since the first moment I met them I connected with them, they are such a sweet couple.

 

They planned their destination wedding in Dreams Playa Mujeres, the perfect setup for a beach wedding. As a wedding photographer I love resorts like this where you can make each wedding look unique.

 

They got married on the beautiful Dreams Playa Mujeres in Cancun, Mexico.

 

Nicholas groom outfit had such nice shade of blue and yellow bow-tie popped up

Nicholas and Caitlin were (as myself) fans of Game of Thrones, Nicholas wear a GOT cufflinks and a pocket watch with the Lannister embleme

Youtube is always helpful to learn how to tie a bow-tie

Getting a bow tie on place is not a easy job fellas

And it was time to see what the girls were doing!

Caitlin and the girls lined up their amazing outfits, I saw the beautiful jewelry and couldn’t help to play a bit out of the box

Their color palette was so refreshing! I loved the mix between yellow and pink of the bouquets

And Caitlin was all ready to go meet Nicholas!

OMG! Caitlin totally looked like a princess

Nicholas was SO ready to see the love of his life (And finally all the bow-ties were on place)

 

Caitlin started to walking down to the ceremony with her mother (which BTW was the sweetest and funniest MoB ever!)

Nicholas couldn’t help but to get emotional when he saw Caitlin walking down the aisle

It was a sweet entrance and Caitlin looked stunning!

I love the beach wedding gazebo on the Dreams Playa Mujeres, is such a lovely spot for a destination wedding

Nicholas was so happy on his wedding day

They even had some unexpected guest!

The sand ceremony has become a major trend for beach destination weddings

And they were finally Mr & Mrs Cocco!

Everyone was SO happy for them

The Dreams Playa Mujeres has amazing backdrops, totally love it!

Nicholas love to be a little goofy

Even the restaurants in the Dreams Playa Mujeres were magical for some wedding portraits

Everyone loves some dramatic portraits too for their destination wedding

It was time to go party!

Loved all the details and the color scheme on the reception was so cool

Houston we have a Piñata! #MexiCocco

They did their first dance right after the grand entrance

I always love to create some glares and different cool effects for the first dance, they looked amazing

Nicholas danced with his mother

And it was time for dinner

Their cake topper was so classy and cool, Nicholas is for sure a gentleman!

Let’s get this party started!

I can ensure you that Nicholas made some crazy moves in the dance floor

We had so much fun

The sparkling corridor was the gran finale

We met on the following day for a Day-After photo shoot

They looked so in love

The beach of the Dreams Playa Mujeres for sure has some sweet spots!
